Paletta Pink Tip Acropora Coral
Acropora corals are one of the most sought-after SPS (Small Polyp Stony) corals, known for their branching, plating, or encrusting growth forms and vibrant colors. While stunning, they require stable water conditions and are best suited for experienced reef keepers.

You will receive a frag SIMILAR in shape and size to the coral in the photo. This is NOT a WYSIWYG frag. All our frags are generally 3/4” - 1”
Care Requirements:
Lighting: High (PAR 250-400). Intense lighting is essential for growth and coloration.
Flow: Strong, turbulent flow to prevent detritus buildup and promote healthy polyp extension.
Placement: Upper areas of the tank with space for growth and adequate water movement.
Water Parameters:
Temperature: 76-80°F (24-27°C)
Salinity: 1.025 SG (35 PPT)
pH: 8.1-8.4
Alkalinity: 8-12 dKH
Calcium: 400-450 ppm
Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
Feeding & Nutrition:
Acropora rely on photosynthesis, but benefit from amino acids, phytoplankton, and coral foods for enhanced coloration and health.
Compatibility & Challenges:
Sensitive to parameter fluctuations—requires a mature, stable tank.
Fragile branches, but easy to frag for propagation.
Prone to RTN (Rapid Tissue Necrosis) if stressed.
Final Tips:
Provide strong lighting and flow, maintain stable water chemistry, and dose nutrients as needed. With proper care, Acropora corals develop into stunning, fast-growing showpieces in reef aquariums!
