High Tide Aquatics Return Policy

At High Tide Aquatics, we take great pride in providing healthy, high-quality corals and marine life to our customers. We understand that sometimes issues may arise, and we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for you. Please review our return policy below:

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee that all livestock (corals, fish, invertebrates) will arrive alive and healthy. If your order arrives with dead or damaged livestock, please follow these steps to request a refund or store credit:

  1. Report the Issue Promptly

    • You must notify us of any DOA (Dead on Arrival) livestock within 2 hours of the delivery time recorded by the shipping carrier.

    • Email support@hightideaquatics.com with clear photos of the unopened shipping bag and the affected coral or livestock.

  2. Eligibility for Credit/Replacement

    • If the DOA claim is approved, you will receive store credit for the affected item(s).

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

    • Replacements are subject to availability and may require an additional shipping fee.

  3. Exclusions

    • We do not cover losses due to shipping delays caused by the carrier, improper acclimation, or tank conditions (e.g., poor water quality, temperature swings, or aggressive tank mates).

    • DOA claims are not accepted for orders where the shipping address was incorrect or the package was left outside for an extended period.

Dry Goods Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your non-livestock purchase (e.g., equipment, food, supplements), you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

  1. Conditions for Return

    • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.

    • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or defective.

  2. How to Initiate a Return

    • Email support@hightideaquatics.com with your order number and reason for return.

    • If the return is approved, we will provide instructions for shipping the item back.

  3. Refunds & Store Credit

    • Once the return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund (minus shipping costs) or store credit based on your preference.

    • Refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.

Order Cancellations & Changes

  • Livestock orders cannot be canceled once shipped.

  • Dry goods orders can be canceled before shipment. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel an order.
